Virginia Woolf, British writer (1882-1941) wrote in a paper “Professions for Women” read to the Women’s Service League 1931, how she had to fight off the spectre of Victorian respectability killing what she named the “Angel of the House”.

Fighting for Women’s artistic autonomy is something that many woman artists have been battling throughout history, some silently others outspoken. It required and still requires for many woman courage to free themselves from established rules, pattern or break stereotypes and boundaries. The artists Tatiana Sarasa had been blamed herself by two male gallerists that becoming a mother would not be positive nor profitable for her artistic career.

To those the artists throws her ink pot with fury against the wall and sets herself free. This piece though forceful and vigorous claims for freedom of choice and unlocking prejudice of any type.
